Alba Botanica's Acne Dote Face & Body Scrub

So you probably haven’t heard of alba botanica before like your girl over here!

I ran into this at a Holland & Barrett when I was looking for acne remedies. I then thought I’d give it a shot although the packaging didn’t seem very attractive but because it was so simple it sounded quite promising! Because good brands don’t need good packaging, ey? ;)

But I really love this scrub. It’s gentle and it makes my skin smooth but not stripped from its oils. A common misconception is that you need to have your face squeaky clean if you’re oily skinned. But the fact is, when you rid your skin of all its oils it retaliates by producing even more! So that’s why I like this scrub. I haven’t had any bad reactions to it and even though it’s not a zero waste product, I will be repurchasing it if i can’t find a substitute.

As for the price, it’s amazing for the amount you get; it’s quite a big bottle actually and so I think it might last me a while.
